What We Stand For
Alberta Seniors for Independence is a grassroots movement of older Albertans who believe that our province’s future — and the future of our grandchildren — is best secured through full Alberta sovereignty.

We stand for:
- Fiscal fairness: Alberta deserves to keep the wealth generated by its own land and people.
- Democratic respect: Alberta’s voters have consistently sent strong mandates to Ottawa, only to be ignored.
- Energy sovereignty: Our oil, gas, and emerging energy industries should be developed on our terms.
- Healthcare for Albertans, by Albertans: Seniors depend on a strong, locally controlled healthcare system — not one constrained by federal conditions.
- A legacy worth leaving: We want our grandchildren to inherit a province — and a country — that treats them fairly. If that requires independence, we are prepared to say so.
We do not advocate division for its own sake. We advocate for an Alberta that finally has the tools to govern itself as it sees fit.

John Bolton Interviewed SFI:
Here’s a great comment that was posted below the interview:
It is so refreshing as a Gen X, to see baby boomers supporting independence. Not all baby boomers are selfish, uncaring about their children’s future. Some recognize the cost of Alberta losing its future remaining in Canada. May God bless them, may God bless Alberta.
Worried about your CPP & OAS? You needn’t be.
